木兰围场次生天然林演替过程土壤质量指数的评估

目的:次生演替过程中由于植被群落的变化导致土壤理化性质发生改变,这一直是生态学领域研究的热点。然而,关于次生演替过程中土壤质量变化规律的认识仍缺乏深入见解。 方法:采用"空间替代时间"的方法,选择了木兰围场的三种生境:白桦林(EF)、白桦和落叶松混合林(MF)和落叶松林(LF)代表主要演替序列。计算土壤质量指数(SQI)评估土壤质量。 结果:研究表明,土壤有机碳(SOC)、全氮(TN)、全磷(TP)、速效氮(AN)、速效磷(AP)、最大含水率(MWHC)出现先升后降的趋势,MF含量明显高于EF和LF(p<0.05)。BD在MF最低,而pH在BF最高,显著高于LF和MF(p<0.05)。利用AN、TP和pH构建的最小数据集(MDS)的结果表明,SQI在演替过程中也呈现先升后降的趋势,MF显著高于EF和LF(p<0.05),具体表现为MF>BF>LF。 结论:综上所述,在演替过程中SQI出现了先增加后下降的趋势。可通过人工补植落叶松提高SQI。本研究为揭示次生演替过程中土壤质量指数的变化提供了新的理论依据。
ims: Changes in soil physical and chemical properties due to changes in vegetation communities during secondary succession have been a hot topic of research in the field of ecology. However, there is still a lack of in-depth understanding of the pattern of change in soil quality during secondary succession. Methods: Using the method of "space instead of time", three habitats in the Mulan paddock were selected to represent the main successional sequences: white birch forest (EF), mixed birch and larch forest (MF) and larch forest (LF). Soil quality was assessed by calculating the Soil Quality Index (SQI). Results: The study showed that soil organic carbon (SOC), total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), quick-acting nitrogen (AN), quick-acting phosphorus (AP), and maximum water-holding capacity (MWHC) showed a tendency of increasing and then decreasing, and the content of MF was significantly higher than that of EF and LF (p<0.05). bd was lowest in MF, whereas pH was highest in BF, and was significantly higher than that of LF and MF (p<0.05). The results of the minimum dataset (MDS) constructed using AN, TP and pH showed that SQI also showed a tendency of increasing and then decreasing during succession, with MF significantly higher than EF and LF (p<0.05), which was manifested as MF>BF>LF. Conclusion: In summary, SQI showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing during the successional process. The SQI can be improved by artificial replanting of larch.This study provides a new theoretical basis for revealing the changes of soil quality index during secondary succession.
