镁渣/聚丙烯复合材料的生命周期评价
Life cycle assessment of magnesium slag / polypropylene composites
采用熔融加工方法,制备出一系列不同镁渣含量的聚丙烯(PP)石塑复合材料。基于输入-输出模型,以室外地板为目标产品,计算该石塑复合材料从摇篮到大门阶段的能源消耗和污染物排放;分别选取温室效应潜能(GWP)、酸雨化潜能(AP)、富营养化潜能(EP)、光化学烟雾潜能(PCOP)、气溶胶潜能(SP)和生态毒性潜能(ETP)等 6 种环境影响类型,建模计算镁渣含量对 PP 复合材料能耗和环境影响负荷(EIL)的影响,评估镁渣制备PP石塑复合材料的环保效益。结果表明,制备镁渣/PP 复合材质的石塑地板,GWP所占比重最大,SP 所占比重较小。每吨镁渣含量42wt%的石塑复合材料(Sample 5),半生命周期中的能耗和EIL分别比纯PP下降32.5%和21.3%。本项研究可以实现镁渣的变害为宝、高值化综合利用,减少聚烯烃用量的同时,制备出性能优异的新型石塑复合材料,具有环保、经济、社会多重效益。
series of polypropylene (PP) based stoneplastic composites with different content of magnesium slagwere prepared by melt blending. Taking the outdoor floor as the target product, their energy consumption and pollutant emission of the stoneplastic composites during the cradle-to-gate life cycle stage were calculated with the input-output model. Then, six environmental impact types including global warming potential (GWP), acidulation potential (AP), eutrophication potential (EP), photochemical oxidation potential (PCOP), smog potential (SP) and ecological toxicity potential (ETP), were selected to calculate their energy consumption and environmental impact load (EIL) of the PP-based composites, in order to evaluate the environmental benefits of using magnesium slagto prepare PP stoneplastic composites.The results show thatGWP takesup the largest share, while SP takes up the smallest sharefor the magnesium slag modified PPstone plastic floor. Energy consumption and EIL for 1 ton of the stone plastic floorwith 42 wt % of magnesium slag(Sample 5) was 32.5 % and 21.3 %lower than that of pure PPduring its life cycle, respectively. Our research realized the comprehensive utilization of magnesium slag, which reduced the consumption amount of polyolefinand prepared a new type of stone plastic composites with excellent performance. This work has multiple benefits of environmental protection, economy and society.
