Influence of Bacillus subtilis on the Biotoxicity of Soils Contaminated with Copper

An urgent environmental problem is the pollution of the environment with heavy metals, which have a negative impact on the components of ecosystems. Therefore, the search for new approaches to reduce their toxicity/availability in soil is a task of applied research. The work studied the effect of inoculation with bacteria Bacillus subtilis 534 of contaminated soils with copper acetates on their toxicity to higher plants, earthworms and bacteria of the genus Azotobacter.
