大规模新能源基地柔性直流送出系统强度评估方法

System Strength Assessment Method for Large-Scale Renewables Sending System with VSC-HVDC

系统强度可用于描述系统性能和量化稳定裕度,基于短路比的系统强度指标长期以来为电网稳定运行提供了简单直观的参考。然而,现有短路比指标依赖于同步机提供短路容量或电压支撑的前提,难以适用于无同步机的全电力电子系统。为此,本文从小扰动稳定性的角度探讨新能源基地经柔直送出系统强度评估问题,基于送端柔直的电压源等值思路将广义短路比推广到全电力电子系统,结合新能源设备临界短路比提出了源-网协同的系统强度评估方法。研究表明,基于广义短路比的系统强度评估方法不依赖于短路电流,而是基于电压对电流的多端口灵敏度矩阵,可计及不同控制参数下送端柔直等构网型设备的电压支撑作用;送出系统强度水平通过比较广义短路比及其临界值来确定,可用于快速量化在运行点处的小扰动稳定裕度和静态电压稳定裕度。多风电场送出系统算例验证了所提方法的有效性。

System strength is generally used to describe the system performance under a disturbance and quantify stability margin. The system strength assessment based on short-circuit ratio has provided a simple and intuitive reference for the grid operation and stability analysis. However, the existing methods rely on the assumption that synchronous generators in the grid provide short-circuit capacity and voltage support, so that they may be unsuitable for renewables sending systems with voltage source converter-based high voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC), where all apparatuses are power-electronic interface. In this paper, we discuss its system strength evaluation problem in terms of small-disturbance stability. The generalized short-circuit ratio theory is expanded into this all inverter-based system based on the voltage-source equivalent analysis of VSC-HVDC. Then, a source-grid coordination method is presented to evaluate the system strength by combing the renewables apparatus critical short-circuit ratio. Results show that with consideration of the voltage support characteristics of VSC-HVDC, the generalized short-circuit ratio can be calculated without the short-circuit analysis, instead analyzing the multi-port current-voltage sensitivity matrix; the system strength can be evaluated by comparing generalized short-circuit ratio and its critical value and the assessment of small-disturbance stability margin and static voltage stability margin is realized rapidly. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is verified by a typical example of multi-wind farms sending system with VSC-HVDC.
