大学生手型尺寸分布及对其触屏手机操作绩效影响

The Distribution of Hand Sizes of University Students and the Effects of Users' Hand Size Types on the Operation on Touch Screen Mobile Phone

摘 要 以往研究表明:目标按键尺寸、间距和位置及用户操作手是否为优势手等因素均影响用户操作手机。随着触屏手机尺寸的多样化,有必要考察不同手型尺寸对触屏手机操作的影响。本研究首先测量250名大学生的手部参数,并通过聚类分析将手型尺寸分为大、中、小三类,然后采用系列目标按键任务研究不同手型尺寸对用户操作触屏手机绩效的影响。结果表明:(1)大学生的手型尺寸总体符合正态分布;(2)在手机尺寸较为适中的情况下,大、中、小三种手型用户在操作的速度和准确率上没有明显区别,但中手用户在手指活动的灵活性、操作的总体满意度和手机尺寸与自己手型尺寸的匹配性上的主观感受最优,而生理上大手用户在实际操作中最为省力。

The previous studies showed that the touch key size, spacing and location, whether operating hand was the preferred hand or not and some other factors all affected user's operation performance on mobile phone. With the diversity of touch screen mobile phone sizes, it was necessary to investigate the effects of user's hand size on the operation performance on touch screen mobile phone. In this study hands' data were collected from 250 university students and were classified into three types (small, median and large) firstly, then we adopt serial target pressing task to explore the effects of different hand sizes on the operation performance of touch screen mobile phone. The results show that: (1) The hand sizes of university students accord with normal distribution in general; (2) When phone has a median size, the three types users have no significant difference on operation speed and accuracy, but median hand size users have the best subjective feelings about the flexibility of finger activities, the total satisfaction of operation and the matching degree between phone size and hand size, and from biologically result, large hand size users operate the phone most easily.
