基于ROC分析的基本形态指标对青年人"肥胖"的判断效果
Judgment Effect of Basic Morphological Indicators on Young People\'s "Obesity" Based on ROC Analysis
目的:采用ROC分析探索身高、体重及其回归预测值和衍生指标对肥胖的判断价值。方法:以体脂率为"金标准",分别用BMI、NBMI、PPBF、克托莱指数、劳雷尔指数、利维指数判断"肥胖"。结果:(1)用身高的自然对数(lnH)预测体重的自然对数(lnW)时,回归方程和回归系数都具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。(2)用身高和体重预测体脂率时,回归方程和回归系数都具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。(3)各指标判断男性肥胖时,NBMI、劳累尔指数、利维指数的AUC明显高于BMI的AUC(P<0.05),克托莱指数的AUC明显低于BMI的AUC(P<0.01),PPBF的AUC与BMI的AUC差异不具有统计学意义(P>0.05)。判断女性肥胖时,克托莱指数的AUC明显低于BMI的AUC(P<0.01)。结论:(1)所构建的"新身体质量指数"(NBMI)判断男性和女性肥胖的效果都较好,AUC分别为0.916、0.894。NBMI男=W/H2.7;NBMI女=W/H2.3。(2)用身高和体重预测体脂率的回归方程分别为〖PPBF〗_男=91.473-0.593H+0.420W,〖PPBF〗_女=97.679-0.606H+0.513W。PPBF判断男性和女性肥胖时AUC都大于0.88。(3)NBMI、劳累尔指数、利维指数判断男性肥胖的效果超过了BMI,AUC都大于0.9。NBMI、PPBF、劳雷尔指数、利维指数判断女性肥胖的效果与BMI基本一致,AUC都大于0.88。克托莱指数判断男性和女性肥胖的效果都最差,AUC分别为0.860、0.873。
Objective: To use ROC analysis to explore the judgment value of height, weight and their regression predictive values and derivative indicators for obesity. Methods: Taking the body fat rate as the "gold standard", using BMI, NBMI, PPBF, Quetelet index, Laurel index, and Levy index to judge "obesity" respectively. Results: (1) When the natural logarithm of height (lnH) is used to predict the natural logarithm of weight (lnW), the regression equation and regression coefficient are both statistically significant (P<0.05). (2) When using height and weight to predict body fat rate, the regression equation and regression coefficient are both statistically significant (P<0.05). (3) When judging male obesity by various indicators, the AUC of NBMI, Laurel index, and Levy index were significantly higher than the AUC of BMI (P<0.05), and the AUC of Quetelet index was significantly lower than that of BMI (P<0.01) There was no statistically significant difference between the AUC of PPBF and the AUC of BMI (P>0.05). When judging female obesity, the AUC of Quetelet index was significantly lower than that of BMI (P<0.01). Conclusion: (1) The constructed "New Body Mass Index" (NBMI) has a good effect in judging obesity in men and women, with AUC of 0.916 and 0.894. NBMI male=W/H2.7;NBMI female=W/H2.3. (2) The regression equations for predicting body fat percentage by height and weight are 〖PPBF〗_male=91.473-0.593H+0.420W,and 〖PPBF〗_female=97.679-0.606H+0.513W. When PPBF judges obesity in men and women, AUC is greater than 0.88. (3) The effect of NBMI, Laurel index, and Levy index in judging male obesity exceeds BMI, and AUC is greater than 0.9. The effects of NBMI, PPBF, Laurel index, and Levy index in judging female obesity are basically the same as BMI, and the AUC is greater than 0.88. The Quetelet index has the worst effect in judging obesity in men and women, with AUC of 0.860 and 0.873, respectively.
