摘要

展示了一种基于卡尔曼滤波的标准白兔连接(WR-PTP)时间同步技术。在基于白兔技术方案的频率传递和时间同步完成后设置了卡尔曼滤波器,以实现时间同步性能的提升。标准的白兔连接装置基于同步以太网提取频率信号进行频率传递,基于双向比对进行时间同步。在该技术中,针对时间同步的控制过程设计了对应的卡尔曼滤波器。通过实验,基于标准白兔连接的时间同步的装置在进行卡尔曼滤波后,频率传递性能提升了两个数量级,同时时间同步的准确度从140皮秒提高到了75皮秒,精度由13皮秒内提高到8皮秒以内。因为是基于标准白兔连接进行的数据后处理工作,因此保证了连接本身的标准性和可扩展性,可以支持白兔连接组网。这项工作为连接网络时频传递技术和高精度时频传递技术作出了贡献。

Abstract

This paper demonstrates a time-frequency synchronization of the standard White Rabbit connection (WR-PTP) based on Kalman filter. The Kalman filter is set up after the time-frequency synchronization process based on the White Rabbit solution is completed to improve the performance of time-frequency synchronization. The standard White Rabbit time-frequency synchronization devices implement time synchronization based on two-way time comparison, and frequency transfer by extracting frequency signals from Synchronous Ethernet. In this paper, Kalman filter is designed corresponding to the control process of time-frequency synchronization. Through experiments, for the device that implements time-frequency synchronization based on the standard White Rabbit protocol, after Kalman filtering, the accuracy of time synchronization has been improved from 140 ps to 75 ps, and the precision has been improved from within 13 ps to within 8 ps. The performance of frequency synchronization has been improved by two orders of magnitude. Since it is a data post-processing work based on the standard White Rabbit connection, the standardization and scalability of the connection itself are ensured, and it can support the networking of the White Rabbit connections. This work has made contributions to the time and frequency transmission technology for connected networks and high-precision time-frequency synchronization technology.
