Cutoff Sobolev inequalities on the Vicsek and Sierpi\'nski fractals

We present a direct proof of the cutoff Sobolev inequalities on the Vicsek set, the Sierpi\'nski gasket and the Sierpi\'nski carpet, which has long been regarded as highly non-trivial in the context of heat kernel estimates.
