慢查询重写研究进展综述

Slow query rewriting is a fundamental research topic in the field of database query optimization. It aims to enhance execution efficiency by applying equivalence-preserving transformations to the query structure or execution plan of slow-running queries. In recent years, a growing body of research has explored this problem from multiple perspectives, underscoring the need for a systematic review of existing approaches. This survey first presents the theoretical foundations of slow query rewriting, including representative rewriting techniques and query feature extraction methods. It then summarizes recent advancements, covering both in-system rewriting mechanisms and plugin-based approaches that extend database functionalities. Finally, the paper discusses emerging trends and outlines potential future research directions.
