甜瓜套种玉米一年两熟高效栽培技术

Objective: To investigate the technology, period and benefit of interplanting melon with corn, and summarize a set of key technologies suitable for the in northern Anhui. Method: The interplanting experiments were conducted through setting different sowing dates, different densities and row spacing. Results: The spring interplanting ofon was sown in early April, and the corn was sown in late April. The summer interplanting was sown in early July, and the corn was sown late July. The corn rows were spaced 3-4 m away from the melon rows, and the melon rows were spaced 5-6 m apart. The grain corn complete the whole growth period. The benefit of spring interplanting was 1006.8 yuan/667m2, and that of summer interplant was 1420.23 yuan/667m2. Conclusion: It was feasible to interplant melon with corn in northern Anhui and the high-yield dwarf-type corn and the melon varieties with strong shade-tolerance should be preferred.
