数字化转型、企业文化与创新:来自中国上市公司的经验证据
随着全球数字经济的迅猛发展,实施数字化转型已成为企业实现可持续发展的必然选择。基于2013-2021年上市公司年报数据,利用文本挖掘技术刻画企业数字化水平和文化强度,从理论和实证两个角度探讨数字化转型对企业创新的影响及机制,并分析数字化转型能否通过创新显著提升企业生产效率。研究发现:数字化转型可以有效推动上市公司创新,在考虑内生性问题以及稳健性检验基础上该结论依然成立;机制分析表明,数字化转型对创新的积极影响是通过构建较强的竞争、创造和控制企业文化实现的,而合作文化则起到了一定的阻碍作用;数字化转型对创新的影响具有高度异质性,在国有企业、高技术产业和竞争性行业中的促进作用更为明显;数字化通过促进企业创新,提高了全要素生产率。?????
With the rapid development of the global digital economy, implementing digital transformation has become an inevitable choice for enterprises to achieve sustainable development. Based on the annual report data of listed companies from 2013 to 2021, I use text mining technology to depict the level of digitalization and cultural intensity of enterprises, exploring the impact and mechanisms of digital transformation on corporate innovation from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. I also analyze whether digital transformation can significantly improve corporate production efficiency through innovation. The study finds that digital transformation can effectively promote innovation in listed companies, and this conclusion remains valid when considering endogeneity issues and robustness tests. Mechanism analysis shows that the positive impact of digital transformation on innovation is achieved through the establishment of strong competitive, creative, and control-oriented corporate cultures, while cooperative culture plays a somewhat obstructive role. The impact of digital transformation on innovation is highly heterogeneous, with a more pronounced promoting effect in state-owned enterprises, high-tech industries, and competitive sectors. Digitalization enhances total factor productivity by promoting corporate innovation.
