he existing linear vibrating screen, garden vibrating screen, elliptical vibrating screen whose excitation force is in the vertical plane, the screen width direction lack of effective excitation, the degree of particle group loosening, particle group stratification effect, and screening efficiency has room for improvement. In order to strengthen the screening performance of the existing vibrating screen, based on LISSAJOUS vibration synthesis theory, two mutually perpendicular and frequency ratio of 12 simple harmonic linear vibration synthesis for composite vibration, and this composite vibration into the vibrating screen, so that the vibrating screen vibration according to this composite vibration curve trajectory, in the screen width direction to increase the particle parting motion, so that the particles in the width direction by the excitation force In this way, a new type of composite vibrating screen is constructed, which makes the particles more loose and the stratification effect more significant. Using EDEM software, under the same vibration parameters, the discrete element simulation study of linear vibrating screen and composite vibrating screen. The simulation results show that the composite vibrating screen has 2.98% higher screening efficiency and 3.17% higher material conveying capacity than the linear vibrating screen, and the delamination effect is obvious and the impact on the screen is smaller. On the basis of the above, using L9(33) orthogonal test, the three factors influencing screening efficiency, in descending order of significantce, are the main vibration frequency, the inclination angle of the screen surface, and the amplitude of vibration.
