摘要
为探究重复快速射电暴的偏振特性、辐射机制及起源,首先概述了斯托克斯参量、法拉第旋转量等偏振相关物理参数的定义,并介绍了 Q-U拟合法与 RM 综合法等观测分析方法。通过分析曲率辐射、逆康普顿散射等辐射机制,以及回旋吸收、广义法拉第旋转等传播效应,探讨了它们对偏振的影响。在此基础上,重点阐释了 FRB 20121102A 等六个典型重复暴的偏振观测特征,发现重复暴同样存在高圆偏振,从而打破了以往认为圆偏振仅是非重复暴独有特征的观点。最后,对磁星等起源模型进行了讨论。研究结果显示,偏振特性能够为揭示重复快速射电暴的辐射机制和起源提供关键观测约束,并支持磁星模型具有较高的合理性。
Abstract
To investigate the polarization properties, radiation mechanisms, and origins of repeating fast radio bursts,deffnitions of polarization-related physical parameters such as Stokes parameters and Faraday rotation measure areffrst outlined, along with observational analysis methods including QU fftting and RM synthesis. By analyzingradiation mechanisms like curvature radiation and inverse Compton scattering, as well as propagation effects suchas cyclotron absorption and generalized Faraday rotation, their inffuences on polarization signals are examined. Onthis basis, the polarization observational characteristics of six typical repeating FRBs including FRB 20121102A arehighlighted, revealing that repeating FRBs also exhibit high circular polarization, thereby challenging the previousview that circular polarization is unique to non-repeating FRBs. Finally, origin models such as the magnetar modelare discussed. The results show that polarization properties can provide key observational constraints for understanding the radiation mechanisms and origins of repeating FRBs, and support the magnetar model as being reasonablyplausible.关键词
