摘要
本文提出了一种面向大尺度硅光子器件逆向设计的非均匀网格拓扑优化方法。该方法通过将水平方向多个相邻网格点合并为单一优化变量,同时在垂直方向保持较小网格尺寸,在保证电磁场计算精度的前提下降低了设计空间的维度。通过对 10.8 × 10.8 μm2 单模垂直耦合器和 16 × 16 μm2 四端口多模分束耦合器的仿真设计验证了该方法的有效性。
Abstract
We propose a nonuniform mesh topology optimization method for inverse design of large-scale silicon photonic devices. By grouping multiple adjacent horizontal grid points into single optimization variables while maintaining smaller vertical grid, the method reduces the dimensionality of the design space while maintains accurate electromagnetic calculations. The method is validated through simulations of a 10.8 × 10.8 μm2 single-mode vertical coupler and a 16 × 16 μm2 four-port multimode-splitting coupler.关键词
