植物RING型E3泛素连接酶功能研究进展

摘要
泛素-蛋白酶体系统是真核生物中重要的翻译后修饰调控体系,E3泛素连接酶是泛素化系统中负责识别底物蛋白、决定底物特异性的核心组分。RING型E3泛素连接酶含有保守的RING结构域,是植物中数量最多、功能最为多样的一类E3。大量研究表明,RING型E3泛素连接酶通过靶向泛素化降解特定底物蛋白,广泛参与植物种子萌发、开花调控、器官发育、植株衰老等生长发育过程,同时介导植物应对干旱、温度、盐害等非生物胁迫以及病原菌侵染等生物胁迫,还参与多种内源激素的信号转导过程。本文系统综述了植物RING型E3泛素连接酶在生长发育、非生物胁迫响应,生物胁迫防御与激素信号转导中的研究进展,并对未来RING型E3泛素连接酶的研究提出了建议,以期为相关领域的研究提供理论参考。
Abstract
The ubiquitin-proteasome system is an essential post-translational modification system in eukaryotes. As core components of the ubiquitination pathway, E3 ubiquitin ligases recognize target substrates and determine the specificity of ubiquitination. RING-type E3 ligases feature a conserved RING domain and represent the largest and most functionally diverse class of E3 ligases in plants. Accumulating evidence indicates that RING-type E3 ligases mediate the ubiquitination and degradation of specific substrates, thereby widely regulating multiple plant life processes, including seed germination, flowering, organ development and senescence. They also participate in plant responses to abiotic stresses such as drought, extreme temperature and salinity, and in defense against pathogen-induced biotic stresses, as well as modulating the signal transduction of various plant hormones. This article systematically reviews the research progress of plant RING-type E3 ligases in growth and development, stress responses, and hormone signaling, and discusses future research directions, aiming to provide a theoretical reference for related studies.关键词
