The application of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) technology brings new opportunities and challenges to health information services for the elderly in public libraries. Through network research and literature analysis, this study sorts out the current dilemmas of health information services in public libraries, constructs a framework for the health information service model for the elderly in public libraries from the perspective of AIGC based on information ecology theory, and proposes advancement strategies. The study suggests that the implementation and optimization of this service model rely on multi-level linkage mechanisms including macro policy guidance, meso-level industry promotion, and micro-level service design. At the macro level, policy guidance and institutional guarantees should be strengthened; at the meso level, it is necessary to promote technological integration and service model transformation within the library industry; at the micro level, it is essential to further enrich service supply, develop elderly-friendly AIGC interactive interfaces and terminals with strong adaptability and high usability, and bridge the 'last mile' of elderly-friendly services.
