Suppose there exists an ideal particle that radiates electromagnetic wave at a constant frequency in any inertial frame. When this inherent wave disturbs another particle and is reflected, an incident–reflected wave pair is formed between the two particles. When the two particles move relative to each other, the superposition of the incident and reflected waves will produce a beat frequency. Does the disturbance (or secondary wave) associated with this “beat frequency” have any physical significance? Furthermore, if the electron also possesses such an inherent wave, what characteristics would the electron exhibit? This paper discusses the possibility that the electron has an inherent wave, as well as the potential significance of the beat frequency in medical engineering.
