he application of TOC in project management was entitled critical chain project management. It unlike any previous project management methods that it emphasizes on the whole system in project .Through its buffer management mechanism, this project management method can reduce delay and improve efficiency of project implementation which the traditional project management method can not solve. This paper briefly introduces the critical chain project management and then goes through its buffer mechanism , the common used calculation methods in buffer management were introduced in detail. At last, this paper puts forward a new buffer management methods. The new method has been proved effectively.
