本文提出一种基于类Fabry-Perot微谐振腔的光学滤波器件,该滤波器是在具有光学厚度的两层金属之间夹有一层金属光栅。通过调节其中光栅的周期,透射光的谐振波长能够在可见光范围调节。本文还就该结构器件的作用原理进行的分析,提出该结构为横向相互耦合的亚微谐振腔,它们形成一层位于谐振腔间得等效媒质。本文所提出得微谐振腔结构尤其适合于集成微光学系统中的阵列性光学滤波器。

In this article, we propose a filtering device of Fabry-Perot-like microcavity with metallic gratings sandwiched between micro-spaced optically-thin metal layers. By varying the period of the gratings, the resonance wavelength of transmission can be tuned in the optical spectrum regime. As analysis of the microcavity is beyond the classical theory of a Fabry-Perot cavity and the structured media with fine gratings in the microcavity behave like an effective medium, the microcavity is modeled as laterally coupled sub-microcavities and the effective index of the cavity media is calculated. The proposed microcavity is promising for arrayed filters in integrated micro-optical systems.
