fter briefly introducing self-organization and dissipative structure in nonequilibrium systems,the characteristics of original microstructural nonequilibrium state of low carbon steel and main consequence of its compositions and microstructures during heating healing are described generally. Then, the conditions for inducing self-organization behavior in the tested material are analyzed in detail. Finally, the dissolution of lamellar pearlite in host and the formation of microstructure at crack healing zone are obtained during thermal healing.
