his paper reviews recent acupuncture treatment on the mechanism of gastric ulcer progress.Data show that acupuncture for the treatment of gastric ulcer whether rapid control symptoms, and promote ulcer healing and the prevention of relapse or to prevent the occurrence of complications, have better results.In addition acupuncture in improving gastric motility and reduce gastric mucosal injury, inhibiting gastric acid secretion, and promote ulcer healing also has good effect.However, in spite of the current control gastric ulcer acupuncture much progress has been made, but many mechanism is not yet completely clarified, but also the need for further in-depth studies and explorations.
