图书馆学研究的使命、问题与方向

Purpose/significance] To clarify the mission and purpose of library science research.[Method/process] Reviewed the development of library science research in China in the new century, then described the missions of library science research which include providing theory, guidance and solutions for the development of library, and pointed out the major problems in the library science research.[Result/conclusion] It suggests that library science research in the future should focus on public library, culture heritage, reading promotion, service innovation and information literacy education.
