In-time and true prediction of coal spontaneous combustion can provide the science guide to mine fire prevention, prevent and reduce loss. This paper introduced the internal cause of coal fire. Especially the prediction of coal spontaneous combustion, including the factors, mark gas and it's choice, classification and the main methods of prediction. The coal prediction theory and prediction methods were summarized. It has a very good feasibility, looking from the model predicted results, and brought feasibility for the work of technical personnel forecast Spontaneous Combustion.
