his paper present a design of a new ultra-wideband printed dipole phased antenna array. The bandwidth of the printed dipole antenna array can be further improved by increasing mutual coupling effect between the array elements. In addition, a small ultra-wideband balun was used as the feed of a dipole element. The electromagnetic simulator HFSS was used to simulate the antenna array. It is shown that by increasing the mutual coupling effect, the array bandwidth can be extended up to 4~18GHz for VSWR≤2.5.
