最低办学经费与最优办学经费:对经济管理学科办学经费的一点思考

从学校管理者的角度看，希望尽可能地节约办学经费是合理的选择。但应该明确区分最低办学经费与最优办学经费两个概念。经济管理学科的办学经费普遍偏低，是由于高校普遍是从最低办学经费的角度来考虑的。最低办学经费可以维持基本的教学运行，但最终会陷入恶性循环。因此，学校应寻求的是一个最优的办学经费水准。
hoosing the lowest education cost is the rational selection of universities’ mana- gers, but it will be plunged into a vicious circle. The education cost of economics and management subjects is obviously lower than the natural science and technology subjects because of the universities’ distribution of education cost is based on the principle of lowest cost not the optimum cost. An university would adopt the concept of optimum education cost and take a suitable investment in the social science sujects.
