硫酸渣磁铁精矿球团试验研究

Study on pelletizing of magnetite concentrate from pyrite cinder

本文对某地低品位硫酸渣经还原焙烧-磁选所得磁铁精矿进行了球团试验研究,结果表明,这种磁铁精矿添加1.5%的湖泗膨润土,在造球时间10min、生球水分16.8%的条件下,得到生球落下强度5.3次/0.5m、抗压强度31.55N/个、爆裂温度435℃的良好指标;球团在预热温度900℃、预热时间10min、焙烧温度1200℃、焙烧时间15min的条件下固结,成品球团抗压强度为2871N/个;还原度为83.38%,还原膨胀指数为17.86%,低温还原粉化指数RDI-3.156.12%。研究结果证明,使用这种磁铁矿完全能生产出可供高炉使用的优质氧化球团。既扩大了钢铁企业原料来源,又综合利用了硫酸渣中的铁资源,具有重大的环保效益。

Study on pelletizing of magnetite concentrate, which was made from low grade pyrite cinder after reduction roasting and magnetic separation, has been carried out. Under the conditions of 1.5% Husi bentonite, 16.8% moisture and 10 min balling duration, the drop number and compressive strength of green balls can reach 5.3 times from 0.5 m height and 31.55 N per pellet, respectively and thermal shock temperature of green balls achieved 435 ℃. After drying, green balls were preheated at 900 ℃ for 10 minutes and fired at 1200 ℃ for 15 minutes, the compressive strength reached 2871 N per fired pellets. Reduction Index, Reduction Swelling Index and RDI-3.15 of fired pellets were 83.38%, 17.86% and 6.12%, respectively. It was proved that by using this magnetite concentrate, high quality oxidized pellet can be produced as a blast furnace feed. The technology will benefit steel mills by giving more options for iron-bearing material sourcing and at the same time iron resource in pyrite cinder can be fully utilized, which will significantly reduce pollution by consuming the waste in vitriol industry and protecting land and waters for pyrite cinder stocking.
