基于KS函数的结构形状隐式描述方法

任意复杂的结构可以由简单几何体(如立方体、球体、圆柱体等)通过布尔运算构造。但是,布尔运算是非解析的。本文分析了布尔运算和隐函数运算之间的关系,并提出了一种基于数学函数--KS函数的隐函数描述方法。在工程中,用本文提出的方法可以将工程零件的外形用一个隐函数来描述。通过二维和三维算例,验证了本文提出方法的有效性。
omplex structure can be constructed of primitive geometries (such as cube, sphere, cylinder, and so on) by Boolean operations. However, Boolean operation is not analytic. In this paper, through the analysis of corresponding between Boolean operation and functional calculation, we propose a new shape description method based on a mathematical function―KS function. Using this method, complex engineering structures can be described by a single implicit function. We show applications of this method to 2D and 3D engineering parts.
