he problems existing in the land expropriation and relocation between Mineral Department and peasants are imperative to be resolved. The system uses Visual C++ 6.0, Access database and MapObjects control as application platform. The purpose of establishing this system is to make the land use data of XuZhou Mineral Department standardization, entirety, systematic and to provide the land statistics data correctly and immediately. The system has the abilities to proceed spatial inquiry, graphical plot analysis, and display thematic information. And this system applies user interface of visualization for operating it, which results in the intuition of it. In summary, the information system provides a method to solve the data process of mineral industry.
