Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are toxic and flammable and explosive, it is harmful for environment and human health. Recycle and destroy technology is commonly used for control VOCs. The recycle technology is restricted by the process and destroy technology is closely related with the catalysts. By a large number of literature, the catalytic oxidation of the destroy technology and the corresponding key factor --- catalysts have been discussed. The mechanism of noble metal catalysts and metal oxide catalysts and the influence of the nature of support for activity cite have been analyzed and discussed.
