Purpose/Significance]The Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) is a comprehensive human resources management system in the United States Army that integrates various independent personnel and pay management systems. Understanding and analyzing its development history and functional features can provide reference and inspiration for the construction of our military’s human resources management system.[Method/Process]Using the method of literature review, we will outline the development history of IPPS-A and analyze its characteristics and functions.[Result/Conclusion]Understanding the development and application of the U.S. Army’s human resources system has important reference and enlightening significance for promoting the construction of our military’s human resources management system and the development of human resources management systems.
