St-BA-qBVPBr无乳阳离子共聚物乳胶粒研究

选用苯乙烯(St),丙烯酸丁酯(BA)(以1-丁基-4乙烯基吡啶溴化物作为功能性共单体),并在70±1℃以偶氮二异丁基咪盐酸(AIBA)作为引发剂,通过无乳化聚合反应制备了稳定的功能性阳离子乳液。通过电导滴定法可测得乳胶粒表面阳离子基团的分布。在反应温度的影响下,对引发剂用量,共单体的数量和St/BA主单体配比对单体转化率,粒径(Dp),颗粒数量(Np),粒度分布(PDI)和粒子的表面性质进行研究。结果表明,随着反应温度和qBVPBr单体含量的增加,Dp减少,随着qBVPBr和AIBA含量的增加,表面阳离子基团的数量随之增加;但是随着AIBA浓度的增加,Dp先减少后增加。在同一反应条件下,通过半连续法制得的颗粒尺寸比批量法制得的要大,且半连续法得到的乳胶粒呈明显的核壳结构。

Stable functional cationic latices were synthetized by Emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerization of styrene (St) and butyl-acrylate (BA) with 1-butyl-4-vinylpyridinium bromide (qBVPBr) as functional comonomer using azo-bis (isobutyramidine hydrochloride) (AIBA) as initiator at 70±1℃. The distribution of cationic groups on the latex particle surface were determined by conductometric titration method. The influence of reaction temperature, the initiator amount, the comonomer amount and St/BA main monomer ratio on the monomer conversion, the particle size (Dp), number (Np), particle size distribution (PDI), and the surface properties of particles are investigated. The results indicate that Dp decrease with increasing reaction temperature and qBVPBr comonomer concents, the surface cationic group contents increase with increasing qBVPBr and AIBA contents; but with increasing AIBA concentrations, Dp decrease at first and then increase. In same recipe condition, the size of the particles by semicontinuous operations is bigger than one by batch operations and the particle are of obvious core/shell structure by semicontinuous operations.
