Research on New Capacitance-to-Digital Sensor of Ice-coat Thickness and its Measurement

本文提出了一种基于空气与冰的电容特性差异,利用AD7747电容-数字转换器加以实现的电容-数字式覆冰厚度传感器模型,并对这一传感器的具体结构与检测方法的实现进行了论述和试验。这一传感器具有结构简单、安装方便、抗干扰能力强等特点,不仅可以满足电力网线塔架覆冰厚度自动连续监测的需求,而且也可以应用于森林、各种野外建筑物及海上石油钻井平台等恶劣环境下对覆冰厚度的实时连续监测。

Based on the different capacitance characteristics between air and ice, a new capacitance-to-digital sensor of ice-coat thickness which is realized with AD7747 CDC(capacitance-to-digital converter) is designed. This article introduces and experiments its structure and measurement. This kind of sensor has the characteristics of simple structure, easy to install, high capability of anti-jamming and so on. It can not only satisfy the need of automatic continuous measure of ice-coat thickness on electric power wires and towers, but also apply to real-time continuous measure of ice-coat thickness on harsh environment, such as forests, all kinds of field buildings, oil well plat roof on the sea and so on.
