语音呼叫连续性研究及其对网络演进的影响

本文介绍了3GPP制定的一种实现语音呼叫连续性控制的方案,该方案主要实现了语音呼叫由GSM/UMTS CS域到IMS的切换。此种切换需要手机为双模终端,这样才能在两个不同制式的网络中同时登录,与VCC AS合作完成语音的切换。文中也对该方案进行了总体的分析,包括网络架构,语音呼叫及切换的信令流程及VCC架构中存在的相关问题,并阐述了其对未来网络的演进的影响。

This paper simply introduced a 3GPP project about voice call continuity control, which can control the voice call domain transfer between the GSM/UMTS CS domain and IMS domain. The project require the UE should support dual radio, which means that the UE can register in two totally different network simultaneously (eg.GSM,UMTS or IMS). This make sure the domain transfer is successful cooperating with VCC AS. In this paper, we also analyze the project, including network architecture, the signaling flows of voice calls and domain transfer, and also the problems arising from the architecture. Finally we discuss the effects on the future network evolution
