t present, as China is in the accelerating period of industrial transition, the development of national economy calls for the desperate need of industrial transition. However, our financial investment industry is still in its fledging phase, which means that the financing ability of our enterprises is quite limited and the financing channels and environments are yet to be perfected. Besides, the tough situation of our current macro control and our tough monetary policy make the financing environment even severer. As a result, the problem of financing is very likely to become a bottleneck impeding the pace of our industrial transition. Whereas, financial leasing has its unique place in financial services in that it can fill in the blank left by the original financial service system. Practice shows that financial leasing has become a new tool in mid and long term financing of enterprises, which greatly helps the multidimensional development of financing methods and financial asset modes. It has great practical significance to vigorously develop and regulate the financial leasing industry in order for it to become an efficient tool relieving the problems encountered by enterprises in the transition period, such as narrow channels and difficulties of financing. This thesis, which is supported by theoretical and empirical analysis, expounds the function of financial leasing in our industrial transition by analyzing the practical difficulties of financing existing among our enterprises within the theory and practice of financial leasing.
