t the present, the research of transgenic animals ethical issues mainly focuses on the following four areas ethical issues, namely transgenic animal safety issues, transgenic animal patents, transgenic animal rights issues, transgenic animal welfare issues etc. The problems and weaknesses of currently existing mainly perform as follows: cross-discipline and academic exchanges are still inadequate; the systematic and profound research is not enough; ethical issues of some transgenic animals have not yet to be studied; even some problems of controversy has not yet to be made conclusion. According to the trend of transgenic animal ethical issues development and the bright prospects of transgenic animals research development, and the need of reality, the content, methods, the basic principles, norms of transgenic animal ethical issues studies will be strengthened; system of theories and disciplines of transgenic animals ethics will be built; some controversial transgenic animal ethics issues will be reasonably solved.
