本文介绍了1,2-丙二醇对不同含量高岭土进行插层处理,然后按一定比例加入苯酐和顺酐,采用原位聚合法制备了高岭土/不饱和聚酯树脂纳米复合材料。XRD和IR分析表明,聚合物插入高岭土片层间,并包覆在片层表面;反应生成热使片层剥离,均匀分散在树脂中;TG分析表明,树脂燃烧时,热焓高且不燃烧的高岭土片层富集在复合材料的表面,起到了隔热阻燃作用。

In the paper, nanocomposite of kaolinite-unsaturated polyester resin is prepared by mixing Maleic anhydride, Phthalic anhydride and the treated 1,2-propanediol, which is initially intercalating with 2.5%、5%and 7.5% kaolinite- Dimethysulfoxide(Kao-DMSO), using the in situ intercalative polymerization. It shows that, by XRD and IR, the monomer or the polymer can intercalate into the interlayer of kaolinite and attach to the surface of lamellar structure; Owing to the energy released from polymerizing reaction, the superposed layer can be exfoliated into fragments in nanometer grade, which are dispersed uniformly into the resin. It is also observed from TG that the fragments can be concentrated on the surface when the resin, containing higher enthalpy and nonflammable kaolinite, burns. It contributes to blocking energy transfer and flame retardance.
