物理不可克隆函数的提出为保护密码芯片的物理安全提供了一种新的有效方法。针对Lim等提出的基于Arbiter的物理不可克隆函数(PUF),利用芯片生产过程中因工艺等原因造成延时偏差作为PUF的产生机制,对基于Arbiter的PUF的物理结构提出了改进,在路径中加入了延时模块,并通过实验在现场可编程逻辑器件(FPGA)上验证了改进方案在安全性能方面的优越性。

ipher chip is an important way to protect the information security. Therefore, to protect the cipher chip security is becoming more and more important. Physical unclonable function (PUF) is a new effective method for the physical security of cipher chip. We first recount the arbiter-based PUF which was proposed by Lim et al. and uses the deviation for the PUF production mechanism because of the chip manufacturing technology. We also propose an improvement method for the physical structure of arbiter-based PUF by adding delay module in the path, and prove the superiority of this method in security protection by experiment with field programmable gate array (FPGA).
