基于集成平面阻抗匹配巴伦的新型UHF RFID近场天线
Novel Near-Field UHF RFID Antenna with Integrated Impedance-Matching Balun
本文提出了一种应用于UHF RFID(超高频射频识别)系统的双面带线近场天线结构。该天线包含了微带馈线、阻抗变换器单元、双面带线辐射单元和8个吸收多余能量的集总电阻。所有功能单元都集成在单体介质板上,使得整体平面结构占用空间小,易于放置,而且不需要额外的巴伦芯片,降低了生产成本,减少了制造工序。仿真和测试结果表明该天线近场区域磁场分布均匀,远场增益小于-3dB,可实现近场标签的可靠读取并有效避免远场区域标签的误读。
novel planar antenna with double-sided strip-line (D-S S-L) structure is developed in this paper for Ultra High-Frequency (UHF) Near-Field Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) applications. This antenna is composed of a microstrip feed network, an impedance transformer cell, a D-S S-L radiator and 8 resistors, which are fabricated on a single FR-4 substrate. Thus, it is very convenient to fix the antenna and the impedance-matching balun for its integrated structure. Meanwhile, the total fabrication difficulty is reduced and the production cost is decreased. The simulation and measurement results show that this antenna operates with symmetric magnetic field distribution in the near-field zone. And the gain is less than -3dB in the far-field zone. As a result, this antenna can effectively identify tags in the near-field zone but reduce the misreading in the far-field zone.
