In order to investigate a modeling technique of the structure with the beams in hydraulic steel gates, four kinds of finite element models are introduced: a solid beam model, a shell beam model, a coupled beam model, and a beam-shell model. According the statical and dynamical analysis, get the advantages and disadvantages of the every model.
