his paper presents a numerical method to identify heat transfer coefficients for the inverse problem of transient heat conduction.Sensitivity formulae are derived,and conjugate technique is employed.The estimation of fluid heat convective coefficients in a pipe is carried out.The accuracy and noise resistance of the method are verificated through a typical example.
