HE DESIGN OF GEM ENCAPSULATION OF E1 SERVICE IN GPON
GPON(吉比特无源光网络)是一种全新的宽带接入技术,它是为支持全业务 (语音、数据和视频)而设计的。它的优势体现在宽带宽能力,安全性,可管理性等方面。下行2.4Gb/s,上行1.2Gb/s的传输速率给宽带运营商带来网络带宽的高效提速。GPON支持TDM、Ethernet、ATM等多种业务的适配。GPON承载TDM这一业务能力获得电信运营商的青睐,它将是下一代主流光接入技术之一。本文的任务是完成GPON承载E1业务GEM帧封装模块的FPGA设计实现。 本文主要包括四个部分,第一部分简要介绍了GPON技术特点,分析了GPON承载TDM业务的必要性;第二部分主要介绍了GPON系统结构和设计的总体考虑;第三部分是本文的核心部分,详细阐述了E1业务信号GEM封装的设计需求及其各个功能模块的设计,主要包括帧头校验模块,串并转换模块,FIFO模块,计数模块,并串转换模块,总模块等功能模块。第四部分对全文进行总结。
GPON is a new broadband access technology. It is designed to support the entire operations (voice, data and video). Its advantages embodied in broad bandwidth capacity, security, manageability and low cost. Downstream 2.4Gb/s, upstream 1.2Gb/s transmission speed bring the network bandwidth efficient acceleration to broadband operators. GPON supports TDM, Ethernet, ATM and other types of business advice. The telecommunications operators favor the business of TDM carried by GPON, which will be one of next generation optical access technologies. The task of this article is GEM encapsulation of E1 service in GPON. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part briefly introduces GPON technology features and analyzes the necessary of TDM business carried by GPON. The second part chiefly introduces the architecture of GPON and the overall design considerations. The third part is the core of the paper, which details the design needs of GEM encapsulation of E1 service and the design of various functional modules. The modules contain frame-head check module, serial-to-parallel change module, FIFO module, counter module, parallel-to-serial module and so on. The four part is summary.
