近几年,除了作为金属配体,氮杂卡宾已经作为新型有机催化剂被用于催化多种类型的有机反应。氮杂卡宾较传统的金属催化剂具有易制备、毒性小等优点,其催化的有机反应已经成为当今有机催化领域的新热点。其中,氮杂卡宾催化的开环反应就是一类非常重要的子类型,其开环方式多样、开环产物类型丰富。本文综述了近年来氮杂卡宾催化的各类开环反应,主要涉及三元环、四元环、五元环及六元环的开环反应。

Over the past several decades, N-heterocyclic carbene (NHCs) have been used as novel organocatalysts in the development of various organic transformations other than as a traditional source of metal ligands. NHCs have some distinct advantages like easier accessibility and lower toxicity over the traditional metal catalysts, which have drawn much attention and interest. As an important subtype, NHC-catalyzed ring-opening reactions have offered access to a variety of useful products. This review primarily concentrates on the recent advance of NHC-catalyzed ring-opening reactions, including ring-opening of three-, four-, five-, and six-membered rings.
