贸易便利化、FDI对"一带一路"沿线国家全要素生产率的影响研究

Based on the panel data of 49 countries along the 2005-2014 years\' "One belt and One road", this paper chooses the Malmquist index based on the EBM model to calculate total factor productivity (TFP) and its decomposition terms, and further constructs the individual time fixed effect model to examine the effects of trade facilitation, FDI and their interaction terms on TFP and its decomposition terms. The results show that TFP of the sample countries along the Belt & Road has been improved. Among which the growth rate of high income countries is at higher level, and the main reason is the improvement of technical efficiency. While the growth rate of TFP of middle income countries is relatively slow, but the technological progress has played an important role in promoting TFP. The improvement of trade facilitation level has a significant role in promoting technological progress, but it restrains technological efficiency and promotes the growth of TFP in general. The inflow of FDI has neither improved technological efficiency nor promoted technological progress. But the positive interaction between trade facilitation and FDI has significantly promoted the growth of TFP. The impact of trade facilitation and FDI on TFP is closely related to a country\'s economic development and income level.
