微囊化基因工程干细胞移植技术是指通过转染将目的基因导入到靶细胞内,再将该细胞进行微囊化植入受体体内,在避免机体排斥反应的同时又具备了组织相容性好的特点,而且微囊内的功能细胞可以长期存活,发挥其生物学效应,该技术使得异种组织细胞或基因工程细胞移植成为可能。文中介绍了微囊化技术的原理,重点阐述了近年来基因工程干细胞在眼科疾病的应用进展,提出了微囊化基因工程干细胞移植技术在视网膜疾病中应用的可能及前景,展望了此技术用于其它眼病的希望。

ransplantation of microencapsulated genetic engineered stem cells is a method that introduces the purpose gene into the target cells,and transplants tha-t gene into the host after microencapsulated.These microcapsules provide a go-od immunoisolation and biocompatibility for cells.Furthermore, the cells in the microcapsules can be a long time survival as well as remaining its biological e-ffect.The technology will make it possible for the xenotransplantation or gene engineered cell transplantation.In this review,we first outlined the principle of microencapsulation technology,and discussed the progress in application of genemodified of stem cells using in the retina diseases in recent years in details.Fi-nally,we addressed perspectives of this technique used for other eye diseases
