真实的城市环境复杂而且不可控制,为了帮助行人在陌生的地方实现导航,本文基于VC-OpenGL设计一个三维的虚拟城市仿真系统,能够为漫游提供实时的空间导航信息。从Google SketchUp软件导出3ds格式的城市模型,在3ds Max软件中对模型重新贴图,并载入到OpenGL程序框架中显示。用户在城市场景中以第一人称进行漫游,仿真系统实时地为他提供空间导航信息,保证其跟随设定的路径点从起点遍历到终点。该系统还为用户提供定点鸟瞰图、漫游计时和漫游路线保存与显示等功能。实验结果表明:依据仿真系统实时提供的导航信息,用户能够成功地在陌生的城市环境中导航。

s the real urban environment is very complex and uncontrollable, this paper developed a three-dimensional virtual city system based on VC-OpenGL. In order to assist pedestrians to navigate in unknown places, this simu-lation system would provide them with real-time spatial navigation information. The city model of 3ds format is exported from Google SketchUp, mapped again in 3ds Max, and displayed in the OpenGL program frame. The user roams in the virtual urban scenario in the first person, and receives the dynamic spatial information from the simulation system, which makes him follow the predefined route from the origin to the destination. This system still provides the user with the fixed-point bird's view and the roaming timer, and can save and display the user's roaming routes. Experimental results indicate that, with the aid of different types of spatial navigation information, the user can navigate to the destination successfully in a strange urban environment.
