为实现在实际道路中测试和研究分析车辆之间通信性能,搭建满足IEEE 802.11p标准的平台,本文主要介绍在PC上IEEE802.11p网卡的驱动工作。采用DCMA86 P2,Atheros5414B芯片的无线网卡,完成适用于高速移动环境下的IEEE 802.11p标准的网卡驱动。开发测试平台可以作为OBU和RSU用于车辆自组织网络的性能测试,采用DCMA86 P2无线网卡作为无线模块搭建的OBU和RSU平台比实际产品和基于FPGA实现的无线通信模块更方便实用。由于IEEE 802.11p标准是在IEEE 802.11a标准上的修订,在物理层都采用OFDM调制技术,本文介绍利用无线网卡兼容包compat-wireless中的ath5k驱动,在IEEE 802.11a驱动的基础上完成IEEE 802.11p网卡驱动实现,并且搭建adhoc网络,测试搭建的通信平台的吞吐量性能。

In order to test and analyze performances between vehicles in the real roads, and set up platform compliant with IEEE 802.11p standard. This paper presents the implementation of network card driver based on IEEE 802.11p standard in PC. The platform adopts 802.11p network card DCMA86P2, Atheros5414B chipset to implement wireless network driver in high speed mobile environment. The test platform can be used for adhoc performance testing as OBU (On board Unit) and RSU (Road Side Unit). The platform used by network card DCMA86P2 module is more convenient and cheap than products on the market or based on FPGA. Because of IEEE 802.11p standard is revised on the IEEE 802.11a standard, they adopt OFDM modulation in the physical layer. This paper presents the method of implementation IEEE 802.11p driver based on 802.11a driver, compat-wireless source code ath5k, and set up adhoc platform for throughput testing.
