his article reviews the clinical information of acupuncture treatment of amblyopia in resent years. In order to sum up clinically effective approaches with acupuncture treatment of amblyopia. At present data showed that the main ways with acupuncture treatment of amblyopia are body acupuncture, ear acupuncture, skin needle, moxa treatment,eye acupuncture and electrical stimulation, etc, those methods act well on the amblyopia, and they have safe and no side effects virtues; when acupuncture connect the occlusive therapy, Modality Therapy, routine drill and so on, more significantly improve the clinical curative effect, shorten course and worth popularizing.
