随着互联网络移动化趋势日益加剧，移动终端设备越来越多地出现在人们的日常生活中，多终端的数据一致性需求正在逐渐推进数据同步工具的发展。数据同步协议SyncML协议作为一种通用的协议被广泛地使用在同步工具中，而SyncML协议的开源实现--Funambol平台则提供了SyncML协议的专业解决方案。本文介绍了SyncML协议和Funambol平台，详细描述了如何在基于Funambol平台开发的同步服务器上进行PIM（Personal Information Management，个人信息管理）同步业务的扩展，给出了扩展的设计和实现方案。
With the fast development of mobile internet , more and more mobile devices appear in people's daily life. The use of multi-devices has promoted the development of the synchronization tools gradually. The SyncML protocol has been widely used in the synchronization tools, and the open implementation source-Funambol provides the professional solution. This paper introduces the SyncML protocol and Funambol, and describes the analysis、design and implementation of the PIM synchronization extension of the Funambol based server.
