本文介绍了基于TI公司DSK6416开发平台的低码率语音算法G.723.1编解码的实时实现。G.723.1是ITU-T组织于1996年推出的用于多媒体通信的双速率语音算法,可工作于5.3kbit/s和6.3kbit/s。DSK6416是TI公司推出的DSP开发套件,其上的高性能定点DSP芯片TMS320C6416T,主频高达1GHZ,可用于语音算法的实时实现。首先简要介绍了G.723.1的编解码原理和DSK6416的组成部分。接着着重介绍了G.723.1编解码算法在DSK6416上实现的硬件环境,系统工作流程,描述了用EDMA传输语音信号的方案,减轻了DSP的负荷,为多通道语音编码提供了可能。之后介绍了G.723.1的C语言源码的优化方法以缩短编解码周期,最终实现了语音信号的实时回放,效果良好。
his paper introduced the real-time implementation of coding and decoding of law bit rate speech algorithm G.723.1 based on Texas Instruments (TI) DSK6416. G.723.1 proposed by ITU-T in 1996 is a dual rate speech algorithm used for media communication, which can work in both 5.3kbit/s and 6.3k bit/s. DSK6416 is a DSP develop kit provided by TI, in which the frequency of high performance fixed point DSP chip is up to 1G HZ. So DSK6416 is suitable for real-time implementation of speech codec. The coding and decoding principle of G.723.1 and the component of DSK6416 were briefly introduced at first. Then the hardware environment and system flow of coding and decoding algorithm of G.723.1 was mainly described. The scheme of transferring speech signal by EDMA was described to reduce the load on DSP core and can be used for multi-channel speech codec. Then the method of optimizing the source C code of G.723.1 was introduced to shortening coding and decoding cycle. Finally, the real-time playing back of speech signal was realized and the sound quality was good.
