Evaluation of Fracture Toughness of High-strength steel with Prestrain Based on the Local Approach

本文首先对Q420高强钢进行了拉伸试验和断裂韧性试验,测试了其断裂韧性值。然后利用有限元分析及WSTRESS程序得出反映材料的脆性断裂控制参量m、σu,验证了其临界威布尔应力符合局部法理论的双参量威布尔分布。基于局部法由原材料试验结果对预应变试样的断裂韧性进行了预测,预测结果与试验结果相当吻合,表明局部法能很好地描述预应变材料的断裂行为。

he tension and fracture toughness tests on high-strength steel Q420 were carried out under different conditions. The local parameters m and σu controlling brittle fracture were obtained using FEM analysis and WSTRESS program. It was certified that the critical Weibull stress conform to two-parameter Weibull distribution. The fracture toughness of specimen with prestrain was predicted from the virgin material test results based on the local approach, and prediction was consistent with the experimented results. It indicated that the fracture behavior of the material with prestrain was characterized well.
